The IVAR.IVN421 elbow in size 15 mm changes the direction of stainless steel pipe by 90°. It has a compression collar on one side for the pipe and a push-in end of the same diameter on the other side, which is inserted into the compression collar of another fitting – the elbow can thus be mounted directly behind the fitting without the need for a pipe stub. The diameter remains unchanged, the material is stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301), and the collar is sealed with an EPDM O-ring.

Compression size 15 mm
The joint is compressed using M-profile jaws; for a diameter of 15 mm, individual jaws are sufficient. An orange stripe on the fitting indicates a joint that has not yet been compressed, and the LBP (Leak Before Press) O-ring releases liquid during pressure testing until the fitting is compressed – an unpressed joint is thus immediately visible.
Cut the pipe perpendicular to the axis, deburr the inside and outside, and mark the insertion depth with a pen. During installation, follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and flush the entire system before putting it into operation.

Pressure up to PN 16, vacuum down to -0.8 bar (absolute pressure 0.2 bar), temperature from -20 °C to +120 °C, antifreeze mixture concentration up to 50 %. Dimensions according to technical drawing: L 42 mm, H 53 mm, Z 21 mm.
If you need an elbow with a compression collar on both sides, choose type IVAR.IVN420 of the same size.

What is the push-in end of the IVAR.IVN421 elbow used for?
The push-in end has the same diameter as the pipe, 15 mm, so it is inserted directly into the compression collar of another fitting of the same size and compressed together with it. A pipe stub is not needed.
Can the IVAR.IVN421 elbow be used for potable water?
No. According to the manufacturer, fittings made of stainless steel AISI 304 are not suitable for potable water. They are intended for closed heating and cooling circuits, solar systems, compressed air systems, technical gases and liquids.
Which compression jaws do I need for size 15 mm?
Jaws with profile M. For diameters from 15 to 35 mm, individual jaws are used according to the installation instructions.
How do I recognize an unpressed joint for size 15 mm?
