HEPWORTH threaded couplings and straight adapters are used to connect plastic pipe to threaded elements – fittings, valves, taps or other pipework. Thanks to the combination of a detachable push-fit coupling and a classic thread (female or male), they allow easy connection of the HEPWORTH system to a standard installation.
Available in versions with 1/2", 3/4" and 1" thread for pipe diameters of 15, 22 and 28 mm, with no need for welding or soldering.

- What is a threaded coupling used for? It allows you to connect HEPWORTH plastic pipe to threaded elements, for example a tap, valve or heating unit.
- What is the difference between a female and male thread? A female thread screws onto the male thread of the counterpart and vice versa – the choice depends on the type of fitting you are connecting to.
- Can the joint be taken apart after installation? The push-fit part of the coupling is detachable just like with other HEPWORTH fittings, while the threaded connection is undone in the usual way with a wrench.
