    Screw (compression) fittings for pipes and pipework for heating, water and underfloor systems - PEX, PERT and more

    Brass screw fittings for pipes for heating, radiator systems, underfloor heating and domestic hot water. Their biggest advantage is installation without special tools - just an open-end wrench is enough.

     

    Screw fittings can be used as transition pieces from a gas boiler, manifold, or water heater to multilayer (PEX-AL-PEX) pipe.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    • How does a screw fitting work? The pipe is inserted into the fitting body, the union nut is tightened, and a sealing ring with a support sleeve create a tight joint without welding or pressing.
    • What pipes are screw fittings used with? Most often with multilayer (PEX-AL-PEX) pipe; they can also be used as a transition to steel or copper pipework.
    • Do I need special tools for installation? No, an open-end or adjustable wrench is enough - the joint is neither welded nor pressed.
    • Can a screw fitting be taken apart and reused? Yes, unlike press fittings it is detachable, which allows for later repair or modification of the pipework.
