A-Frame Ballast Slab (Flat Roof)
Code: 0020137791Product detailed description
The ballast slab is placed into the A-frame support structure and stabilises the entire solar collector system on a flat roof by its own weight, without the need for anchoring by drilling through the roof covering. This solution is used mainly on roofs where mechanical anchoring into the substrate is unsuitable or not possible.
The number of slabs required depends on the size of the collector array, the height of the building and the wind zone in which it is located – the exact number is determined by the project design or the installation company based on structural calculations.
Compatibility: designed for Protherm A-frame solar collector mounting kits for flat roofs. Installation must be carried out exclusively by a certified service technician in accordance with the manufacturer's installation manual.
