Output: 14.9 – 29.7 kW, forced flue gas discharge (turbo)Baxi Slim 1.300 Fi- fitted with a pump and expansion vessel
Extensive experience and advanced technology have enabled BAXI to develop the SLIM range of cast-iron floor-standing boilers.
The advantage is a wide selection within the output range while maintaining aboiler width of just 35 cm. You can choose a boiler version with flue gas discharge into the chimney up to 62 kW, or with forced discharge (turbo).
- smooth output modulation
- the boiler width always stays the same - only its depth and height increase with output
- models with flue gas discharge into the chimney up to 62 kW output
- turbo versions with a sealed combustion chamber up to 30 kW
- SIEMENS electronics with weather-compensated control, electronic ignition
Characteristics:
- electronic flame modulation
- electronic ignition
- patented AFR air control system for efficiency optimisation (forced flue gas discharge)
- connection to a DHW cylinder (heating-only models): DHW temperature can be controlled directly on the boiler's control panel
- boiler body made of cast-iron sections
- stainless-steel burners
- automatic pump overrun
- gas valve with smooth modulation of the heating and DHW system
- gradual automatic ignition
- anti-frost function
- DHW - option to connect a programmable timer (DHW production)
- heating - option to connect a programmable timer
- option to connect an outdoor sensor
- option to connect a Baxi by Siemens outdoor sensor
- radio interference suppression system
- coaxial/split flue gas discharge/air intake (forced flue gas discharge)

About the company
At the end of 2009, a merger took place between the Baxi, De Dietrich, and Remeha groups, resulting in the creation of a new group named BDR Thermea.
Since 2005, the Slovak market has been represented by the company BDR Thermea (Slovakia), s.r.o. (previously Baxi Heating (Slovakia) s.r.o.). For the demanding domestic market, our company offers a wide range of gas boilers, including both classic wall-mounted boilers and modern energy-saving, so-called condensing boilers. Compared to standard boilers, fuel savings can reach up to 35%. These boilers therefore represent not only an economic but also an ecological benefit. High efficiency is achieved mainly through the condensation of water vapour from flue gases. This allows the energy that would otherwise escape into the atmosphere in the form of flue gases to be utilised.
The Siemens regulation used in these boilers also allows for the resolution of even the most demanding variants of various heating systems. Currently, there is a strong emphasis on the disproportion between the heat loss of the building and the demand for domestic hot water (DHW) production. This situation is caused by extensive insulation of buildings and is particularly noticeable in wooden constructions.
Our range includes boilers from 12 kW to 100 kW. DHW production is ensured either through a flow-through stainless steel plate heat exchanger or via an integrated stainless steel tank with a volume of 60 litres. More demanding DHW requirements can be addressed using a boiler + stationary water heater combination with a volume of 100 to 160 litres.
An important aspect for the end user is also the availability of service. We cover almost all regions across the Slovak Republic, with the distance to the customer not exceeding 30 km. Service is a key concern for us, and we strive to continuously maintain the high quality of the services we provide.
History of Baxi
The roots of Baxi go back to 1925, when the Austrian Westen family founded the company "Smalterie Metallurgiche Venete" in the Venice region (Veneto - northern Italy), one of the largest manufacturers of enameled products such as electric heaters, bathtubs, and heating products - specifically steel radiators.
At the end of the 70s, the company focused more on the heating sector, becoming one of the first manufacturers to introduce household gas appliances to the market. It also introduced the production of wall-mounted boilers simultaneously with the expansion of gas distribution networks. In the mid-80s, the company achieved excellent results and consolidated its position on the Italian market. This became the impetus for expansion into foreign markets.
In 1999, it became part of the British Baxi Group, a European leader in the heating industry.
Exactly ten years later, the companies De Dietrich, Remeha Group, and Baxi Group announced the creation of the international BDR Thermea Group. Today, Baxi is a designer and manufacturer of thermal technology in the largest plant in Europe. Over 8 million gas boilers produced is proof of the high quality and reliability of the entire product range offered today. Baxi products are known for their high energy efficiency, ensuring maximum thermal comfort and energy savings. These fundamental product parameters are part of Baxi's future vision, which is based on continuous technological development in the design and production of high-quality heating boilers and systems.
- 8 million wall-mounted boilers produced since 1978.
- Production capacity of 4,000 boilers per day.
- Annual production capacity of 500,000 boilers.
Traditions and values
Baxi's heating technology naturally evolves through long-term development, but the main mission and goals remain the same into the future - to offer customers the best solution where the main requirement is to ensure thermal comfort. That is why Baxi will continue to adhere to its traditional values in its business activities:
- Customer first - maximum focus on the needs of our end users and collaborating technicians with the aim of satisfying their need for thermal comfort in combination with a reliable product.
- Offering a wide range of products - orientation towards comprehensive solutions for various needs in the areas of hot water production, heating, and air conditioning.
- Energy efficiency as a priority - promoting technological product development that meets the requirements of new, stricter regulations in the areas of higher efficiency, energy savings, and the resulting economic benefits.
- Continuous development of the distribution and service network - a consistent effort to continuously develop our network of authorized service centres, ensuring users quick and professional service at the lowest possible cost.
Baxi has therefore always been, is, and will remain in every respect your partner in fulfilling the basic human need, which is a top-level thermal comfort.
