The boiler module IVAR.TV3-300 DN 40 (code IVA49043610) prepares and distributes heating water with mixing through a 3-way valve. It is suitable for radiator, floor, and wall heating systems in circuits with a heat source whose output temperature varies significantly – typically a solid fuel boiler. It operates in closed hot water heating and cooling systems.

What the module contains

• 3-way mixing valve with a Kv value of 25
• space for a single or double circulation pump (pump is not part of the delivery)
• supply and return pipes with flanges DN 40 for connection to a horizontal distribution manifold
• four flanged shut-off valves, check valve, and pressure ports
• two filling/venting valves on the primary side
• two temperature gauges 0–120 °C and housings for a sensor Ø 6 mm
• thermal insulation Trocellen C080 with thickness 30 mm (λ 0.034 W/m·K)

Performance and dimensions

The module can handle up to 150 kW at ΔT 20 K and up to 38 kW at ΔT 5 K, with a flow rate up to 6460 l/h. The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar, temperature +100 °C. The steel body Fe EN 10217-1 has an epoxy powder surface treatment, the axial distance of the connection is 300 mm, dimensions 940 × 660 × 477 mm.

Valve actuator and installation

The actuator is ordered separately: IVAR.SERVOPOHON TV3 230 V with 3-point control (IVA20317350) or 24 V with 0–10 V control (IVA20317351). The module is mounted directly on the IVAR.HC-DN 40 manifold or via IVAR.CONNECTA reduction kits. The connecting material is part of the delivery. The valve is manufactured on the right side; by rotating the valve and return pipe according to the instructions, a left-hand version is created. Do not use lubricants with mineral oil for EPDM seals. The installation of the module, as well as the mounting and wiring of the pump, should be carried out by a qualified person. Before starting, flush the system.
