The company ELNUR s.a., based in Spain (Madrid), is among the respected leading global manufacturers in the field of electric heating equipment production. For over 40 years, it has been providing solutions for modern and comfortable electric heating through a wide range of products.
The product range includes modern design electric radiators EcoSeco, oil-filled radiators filled with ecological fluid EcoFluid, convector heaters, electric boilers, storage stoves. The range also includes bathroom radiators, terrace infrared heaters, and hand dryers.
Product manufacturing is carried out using the most modern technologies. Fully automated electrostatic powder coating ensures perfect surface treatment of the products against aging and corrosion. All radiators are equipped with a highly accurate thermostat with a deviation of +/-0.1°C and the most modern technology for regulating electricity consumption, known as the Electronic TRIAC Control Optimizer. Using these technologies, savings on heating costs can exceed 30%.
Five assembly lines ensure annual production of 150,000 electric radiators, 40,000 storage stoves, 30,000 convector heaters, and other products. The entire production process, as well as each individual product, meets all quality ISO standards.

PRODUCTS ARE ERP READY
WHAT IS THE ErP DIRECTIVE (Energy related Products)?
The eco-design directive, also known as the energy-related products directive, was introduced by the European Union as part of the climate protection program with the aim of reducing emissions and optimizing energy savings for products marked with the CE label.
Eco-design defines minimum efficiency requirements for products related to electrical energy, such as water heaters, heat pumps, boilers, convector heaters, electric radiators, electric stair radiators, heaters, etc.
The ErP regulation is based on the calculation of energy efficiency (Ns). Appliances must achieve a minimum required result depending on their installation (fixed or mobile). The calculation of energy efficiency is based on two criteria:
- Control performance, such as a basic mechanical thermostat, electronic thermostat, or digital weekly programmer.
- The presence of extended features, such as remote control or open window detector.
In order for an electric heating product to be compatible with ErP, it must achieve an ErP rating (Ns) of 36% for mobile devices and 38% for fixed devices.

WHAT IS THE MAIN CHALLENGE OF THE ErP REGULATION?
With the new ErP regulation, the EU plans to achieve the so-called 20-20-20 goal, the essence of which is to achieve by 2020:
- 20% reduction in CO² emissions
- 20% reduction in primary energy consumption
- 20% increase in the share of renewable energy
These measures will have a strong positive impact on environmental protection and the stimulation of energy savings.
