Detailed information

Product detailed description

Buderus GB192i.2 Installation Set

Buderus belongs to the Bosch Thermotechnik group and has been synonymous with reliable and energy-efficient heating and hot water technology for decades. German manufacturing quality, an emphasis on precise connection dimensions, and long-term availability of spare parts and accessories are among the main reasons why Buderus boilers and system components are a popular choice among installers and investors across Europe.

The GB192i.2 installation set is genuine Buderus accessory intended for mechanically mounting and hydraulically connecting the GB192i.2 condensing boiler to the wall-mounted heating, hot water and gas distribution system. The boiler itself cannot be hung and connected without a mounting bracket, connection elements and a shut-off valve on the gas supply — these are exactly the components included in the set.

By using the original installation set instead of an improvised solution made of various parts, you ensure that the connection spacing precisely matches the boiler's connection ports, that the joints are tight, and that the entire assembly meets the manufacturer's requirements for warranty-compliant installation.

What's included in the set

  • Expansion vessel for GB192i.2, 14 l (7736702244), 1 pc
  • HKA (63015978), 1 pc
  • GA-BS gas cock, straight 1/2 (7738112222), 1 pc
  • Drain funnel with siphon (7719000763), 1 pc

What each component is for

The 14 l expansion vessel compensates for changes in the volume of heating water caused by thermal expansion and maintains stable pressure in the system. The HKA connection kit provides the hydraulic connection between the boiler, the expansion vessel and the distribution pipework. The GA-BS gas ball valve serves as a shut-off element on the gas supply right before the boiler, which is a mandatory part of every gas connection for both safety and inspection reasons. The drain funnel with siphon safely and hygienically discharges condensate and any drained water from the system into the sewage line.

Compatibility

The set is designed for Buderus GB192i.2 series condensing boilers. Before ordering, we recommend verifying the exact designation and power variant of your boiler, or contacting us to confirm compatibility.

Installation

Installation requires connection to the gas, water and heating distribution systems and must therefore be carried out by a certified installer or an authorized Buderus service technician, including inspection of the gas connection in accordance with applicable legislation. Improper installation may affect operational safety as well as warranty coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the installation set necessary, or can I arrange the connection using other parts?
The installation set is designed specifically for this type of Buderus boiler and guarantees correct hydraulic and mechanical connection. Using non-original or incompatible parts may lead to leaks, reduced boiler lifespan, and voided warranty.

Does the set include the boiler itself?
No. This is exclusively mounting and connection accessories. The Buderus condensing boiler itself must be ordered separately.

Who can install the set?
Installation and commissioning must be carried out by an authorized service technician or a certified installer qualified to work with gas and heating equipment, in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.

Is the set also suitable for an older installation where a different boiler was previously installed?
The mounting bracket and connection elements are designed to match the dimensions and connection points of the specific Buderus series. When retrofitting an older distribution system, we recommend having the situation assessed by an installer on site.

Does the set price include a gas hose or gas supply pipe?
The set includes a gas ball valve for connecting to the gas distribution system; the gas piping itself and its inspection are part of the construction preparation carried out by the installer.

What if a part of the set is missing or damaged upon delivery?
Please contact us immediately after receiving the shipment — we handle damage or incompleteness through the claims process with the carrier as well as directly with you.

Warranty and Service

The components of the set are covered by the standard warranty period provided by the manufacturer Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH / Buderus and the seller in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions. To claim full warranty on both the boiler and accessories, we recommend having the installation and commissioning carried out by an authorized Buderus service partner and keeping a service log for the equipment. If you have any questions about choosing the right set for your specific boiler type and output, please do not hesitate to contact us — we will be happy to help.

About the company

Bosch Thermotechnology is one of the largest manufacturers of heating and hot water equipment in the world with a turnover of 3 billion euros. As a supplier of system solutions, Bosch Thermotechnology has set itself the goal of providing comfortable and cozy living conditions and hot water in an energy-saving and environmentally friendly manner.

Bosch Thermotechnology includes the international brands Bosch (which is the successor to the Junkers brand) and Buderus in the field of thermal technology. With a product portfolio covering wall-hung and stationary boilers, including heat pumps and combined heat and power units, through solar systems to flow-through hot water heaters, Bosch Thermotechnology offers prospective and energy-efficient solutions compatible with the environment.

Buderus

As few brands in the world can boast a history of more than 280 years, Buderus can. As early as 1731, Johann Wilhelm Buderus founded his foundry near Laubach in Upper Hesse.

In the past, Buderus boilers were imported into the Czechoslovak Republic through foreign trade companies, and thus these boilers ensure reliable heating and hot water in many important buildings, such as the Prague Congress Centre or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava. No exception are also smaller capacity boilers in family homes, which have been operating for more than 25 years.

Further development of the company, which ultimately brings higher customer satisfaction, is supported by the fact that Buderus became part of the Bosch Group in 2004.

Buderus, as a system expert, offers comprehensive heating system solutions on the Slovak market for apartments, family homes, as well as medium and large buildings. The range includes heating equipment for natural gas, propane, as well as equipment using renewable energy sources. Buderus, as a supplier of complete heating systems, offers hot water storage heaters, heating bodies and controls for each type of system. For the customer, this means that they receive a complete system from one supplier.

At present, the Buderus brand is focusing on new advanced solutions that make more use of technologies using renewable energy sources. The efficiency, economy and environmental impact of using heat pumps or a combination of solar panels and a condensing gas boiler are very interesting options in new buildings and also when renovating older buildings.

All products offered meet the most modern ecological requirements and are designed with the aim of the most economical operation. Responsible planning and implementation of heating requires a responsible supplier: Robert Bosch s.r.o., Thermotechnology Division - Buderus is the right one.

History

1731 - It all began with a high coal-fired furnace - in it, Johann Wilhelm Buderus I. produced cast iron, among other things, oven plates.

1835 - J.W. Buderus's company already had five foundries and produced stoves, which already meant comfortable heat at that time. Since then, Buderus has been setting trends in heating.

1881 - In the 19th century, Buderus gained an excellent reputation with its stoker stoves. These stoves were considered the most reliable and most efficient stoves on the market.

1898 - The first sectioned cast iron boilers were patented and the production of the first cast iron heating bodies (radiators) could be started.

1915 - Buderus attracted attention and admiration with the first large oil-fired boilers and in 1930 it was the first to produce a special oil-fired boiler.

1950 - Since the beginning of the 1950s, Buderus has also been producing steel boilers.

1958 - Due to the need for customer comfort, Buderus brought a new type of boiler, the Loganatherm, to the market. It was a combination of a cast iron boiler with an integrated hot water storage tank.

1962 - Buderus introduced the first wall-mounted heating body - Buderus Juno Heizblock, which was a revolution in heating at that time.

1977 - Buderus responded to the first oil crisis with low-temperature heating systems Ecomatic, which needed up to 15% less energy.

1981 - With the acquisition of the Dutch group Nefit, Buderus became a European market leader with even more efficient condensing technology.

1998 - 100 years after the ironworks Hirzenheim and Lollar received the first patent for the newly created sectioned boiler, the five-millionth cast iron boiler was produced in Lollar.

2002 - Since the beginning of solar technology, the Buderus brand has become a specialist in the integration of renewable energy in heating.

2003 - This year marked the transition from oil heating to compact, extremely quiet wall-mounted constructions in low-temperature and condensing versions.

2004 - At the annual general meeting of the Buderus company on May 13, it was decided to merge the activities in the field of heating technology of Robert Bosch GmbH and Buderus. The company BBT Thermotechnik GmbH is entered in the commercial register on August 2.

2005 - Buderus introduced the gas condensing boiler Logamax plus GB162s with a power of up to 100 kW and an exceptionally compact design. With the help of the offered accessories, it is possible to realize a 400 kW boiler cascade with low space requirements.

2008 - The company BBT Thermotechnik GmbH was renamed effective January 1 to Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH. The Buderus brand continues to maintain its separate identity in the brand portfolio.

2011 - The Buderus MyDevice application offers a completely new dimension of thermal comfort: with the MyDevice system, it is possible to conveniently control the heating system on the go - simply by swiping your finger across the smartphone display.

2014 - The revolutionary inverter technology of air-to-water heat pumps allows energy to be drawn from the air and converted into heat. It thus offers the possibility of using renewable energy sources for heating and the preparation of hot utility water.

2015 - Buderus introduces the new Titanium range, which combines the highest level of energy efficiency and system-integrated technology, in a new timeless design.

2021 - Buderus celebrates 290 years since its founding by J. W. Buderus.
