This bundle contains a SilverCloud SafePC 650AVR backup power supply and a Sticky Pad anti-slip pad with a flag design. The UPS backs up a computer, monitor, router or other small electronics: when the mains power fails, it switches to its 12 V / 7 Ah battery within 2 to 6 ms, giving you time to save your work in peace. The output power is 600 VA (360 W).
The unit stabilises the output to 195–245 V using AVR, protects against overload, short circuit, overheating and battery over-charging or deep discharge, and shows its status and charge level on an LCD display. With the USB cable and the software from the package you can monitor it from your computer. There are two Schuko outlets and two RJ connectors for protecting a fixed telephone line.
The Sticky Pad is a reusable anti-slip mat: it grips a phone or its case and keeps it in place on the dashboard. It is also suitable for sunglasses, keys, earphones and other small items. When it loses its grip, simply wash it with water and let it dry.
Use and limitations
The UPS output is a modified sine wave, so do not use the unit with pumps, motors or laser printers. With a PC and a 15" monitor the backup time is 10 to 20 minutes, and charging takes approximately 12 hours.
