Clamping coupling for flat gasket IVAR.IVN460 22 mm – G 1", clamping, stainless steel AISI 304 / brass
Code: IVN460.2210Product detailed description
Connecting sleeve IVAR.IVN460 22 mm – G 1" is used for transition from pressed stainless steel pipe to heating fittings or components with external thread G 1". The pressing end for the 22 mm tube is sealed with an EPDM O-ring, while the opposite side features a union nut that is screwed onto a mating part and tightened via a flat gasket. The sleeve combines stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301) with brass. The overall length is 39 mm, and the dimension Z according to the drawing is 7 mm.
Where it is suitable
- closed heating and cooling circuits, solar systems
- compressed air, vacuum systems, inert and technical gases
- technical and operational liquids, industrial applications
- sewage and rainwater
The sleeve is not suitable for potable water. It withstands operating pressure up to PN 16, vacuum down to -0.8 bar (absolute pressure 0.2 bar), temperature from -20 °C to +85 °C with a maximum of +120 °C, and antifreeze mixture with a maximum concentration of 50 %.
Pressing and connection inspection
Cut the 22 mm tube perpendicularly, deburr the inside and outside, and insert it fully to the stop; press using jaws with contour M. The patented LBP (Leak Before Press) O-ring has a segmented profile, so an unpressed connection will show leakage during pressure testing, and the orange stripe indicates successful pressing. Installation should be entrusted to a professional who follows the manufacturer's instructions; before starting the heating system, the manufacturer recommends flushing the system and treating the water with preparation GEL.LONG LIFE 100.
The IVAR.IVN460 range includes sleeves for tubes from 15 to 54 mm with threads G 1/2" to G 2".

Frequently asked questions
To what fitting is the IVAR.IVN460 22 mm – G 1" sleeve suitable?
The union nut with G 1" thread is screwed onto a fitting or component with an external thread of the same size, and the connection is sealed with a flat gasket. The other end is pressed onto a stainless steel tube of 22 mm.
Can the sleeve be used for potable water?
No. It is intended for closed heating and cooling systems, solar circuits, compressed air, technical gases and liquids, or for sewage and rainwater.
How is the pressing end installed?
Cut the tube perpendicularly, deburr the inside and outside, and insert it fully to the stop, then press using jaws with contour M. The LBP O-ring and orange stripe will help detect an unpressed connection.
What temperatures and pressure can the sleeve withstand?
Operating pressure up to PN 16 and temperature from -20 °C to +85 °C, with a maximum of +120 °C. The antifreeze mixture may have a maximum concentration of 50 %.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
