Control for IVAR fan coils – IVAR.749 Bluetooth wall panel for connection to control boards, 12 V – SALE
Code: EGB749IIRelated products
Product detailed description
The IVAR.749 panel, code EGB749II, belongs to the M7 range of wall controls for IVAR fan coils. It is an electronic LED thermostat with touch keys that measures room temperature and humidity and manages the main functions of the unit, including fan speed. It talks wirelessly via Bluetooth to the fan coil's control board, so one panel can serve up to 16 units with a Bluetooth-capable board.
What the panel controls
- the desired room temperature from 16 to 28 °C in 0.5 °C steps,
- heating or cooling mode and automatic mode, in which the fan speed adapts to the difference between room and set temperature,
- minimum and maximum fan speed and the air outlet flap,
- standby with frost protection – if the room temperature drops below 5 °C, the hot water valve and the heat source are switched on.
Settings are kept in the panel's own memory even after a power cut. After 20 seconds without use, the display dims and shows only the room temperature.
Connection and compatibility
The panel needs 12 V DC – from a separate 12 V DC/1 A power supply (not included) or from the − and + terminals on the unit's control board. The fan coil must have a control board for remote control via Bluetooth: according to the manufacturer ESE746II in two-pipe and ESE741II in four-pipe systems, and ESE046II for IVAR.FARNA and FARNA BIG. The panel and the units must be paired. Errors E6, E7 and E8 appear only on the Bluetooth panel – E7 means Bluetooth communication is not working. If the fan coil has a built-in touch panel (for example ECA044II or EWA044II on the FARNA range), its display is used for indication only once the wall panel is connected.
Installation
The panel is supplied assembled and fits into a 503 flush back box on an interior wall, about 1.5 m above the floor, away from windows, doors, heat sources and direct sunlight. Fan coils are supplied only with built-in control boards; the wall panel is ordered separately. Electrical connection should be made by a qualified person.

Frequently asked questions
Which control boards communicate with the EGB749II panel?
Boards with Bluetooth: ESE746II in two-pipe and ESE741II in four-pipe systems, and ESE046II for IVAR.FARNA and FARNA BIG fan coils.
How is the EGB749II panel powered?
With 12 V DC, either from a separate 12 V DC/1 A power supply, which is not included, or from the − and + terminals on the fan coil's control board.
What does error E7 on the display mean?
E7 indicates that Bluetooth communication between the panel and the fan coil is not working. Like E6 and E8, this error appears only on the panel with the Bluetooth module.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
