Corner ball valve with a lever 3/4" MF for water, red handle – IVAR.6782
Code: 6782R080Product detailed description
Code 6782R080 denotes a corner ball valve IVAR.6782 with a size of 3/4" and an external – internal thread connection (MF). The valve turns the flow by 90°, can fully close it, and thanks to the union, it can be connected or disconnected without rotating the entire valve. The operating lever is red.
What it is used for
- pipelines for cold and hot water and compressed air
- installations in households, industrial facilities and agriculture
- non-aggressive media up to +120 °C, without presence of steam
- drinking water – the valve has a certificate
Construction
- body made of nickel-plated brass CW617N, brass ball and stem
- ball sealing made of PTFE, stem sealed with Viton and EPDM O-rings
- union with brass nut and spigot, spigot O-ring made of EPDM
- full-flow design, flow diameter Ø 20 mm
- double extended threads according to EN ISO 228/1
- lever made of painted aluminium, rotation range 90°
Installation and operation
The valve is delivered in a fully open position. When tightening the connection, hold the valve body against the direction of pipe rotation to prevent damage. Use Teflon tape, string or thread, or sealing paste or gel on the threads – hemp is not recommended by the manufacturer. Keep the valve fully open or fully closed and rotate it through the full range once or twice a quarter to prevent dirt from settling on the seals.
The same valve with a blue lever has code 6774R080 (type IVAR.6774); both types are produced in sizes from 1/2" to 1".

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the blue and red versions of this valve?
According to the technical data sheet, types IVAR.6782 and IVAR.6774 have the same dimensions, materials and operating parameters. The only difference is the color of the operating lever.
What is a valve with a union used for?
The union with a nut and spigot allows the valve to be connected to the pipeline or disconnected later without the need to rotate the entire valve.
Can I regulate the flow with this valve?
No. The ball valve is intended only for full opening or full closing, and should not be operated in an intermediate position.
How should the valve be positioned when the system is drained before freezing?
If the system is drained due to the risk of freezing, leave the ball valve slightly open at a 45° position.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
