The DAB CP2 32-1800 T (code 60209871) is a single dry-rotor circulating pump in in-line design – the suction and delivery ports are on the same axis, so it fits straight into the pipe run. It is intended for circulating water in heating and air-conditioning systems of commercial and residential buildings, including circuits with solar collectors, and handles mixtures with up to 50 % glycol.

Construction

• pump body and lantern bracket in EN GJL250 cast iron, DN 32 flanges for PN 10 and PN 16 with threaded holes for check gauges
• mechanical seal to DIN 24960 in silicon carbide with EPDM O-rings, shaft with rotor in stainless steel
• common 260 mm port-to-port length that allows one-for-one replacement of an older pump
• extraction screws make dismantling and reassembly easier while protecting the impeller; the hydraulics meet the MEI ≥ 0.4 requirement

Motor and performance

The air-cooled two-pole three-phase asynchronous motor has a P2 output of 1.1 kW (1.5 HP), a maximum P1 power input of 1.48 kW and a rated current of 5.6 A at 3 × 230 V or 3.2 A at 3 × 400 V. Protection rating IP 55, insulation class F, max. speed 2910 rpm. The pump reaches a head of 17.8 m at zero flow and 16.1 m at 10 m³/h; the curve extends up to 34 m³/h.

Operating conditions

The pumped liquid must be clean, free of solid and abrasive particles, non-viscous, non-aggressive and non-crystallising, at a temperature of −15 to +140 °C. Maximum operating pressure is 16 bar and ambient temperature must not exceed +50 °C. The pump is installed in a fixed position, horizontally or vertically with the motor on top. Electrical protection of the motor must be provided by the user and the connection may only be made by a qualified electrician. A twin version (DCP2 models) is also available in the same range.
