Station with one unit ESYBOX MAX

The DAB 1 ESYBOX MAX 60/120 M set includes the ESYBOX MAX 60/120 M pumping unit and the simple connecting base ESYDOCK MAX and is used to increase water pressure in residential homes, commercial buildings and high-rise buildings. The unit is mounted on the base using centering pins and secured with the supplied key; during service, it can be disconnected without interfering with the piping and the base can also be pre-installed before the pump is delivered. The connections have an internal thread of 2" and can be reduced to 1 1/4" using adapters supplied with the base. The dimensions of the station are 766 × 375 × 384 mm (H × W × D).

Performance of model 60/120 M

According to the manufacturer's performance table, the unit achieves a head of 69 m at a flow rate of 6 m³/h, 53 m at 8.4 m³/h, 37.2 m at 11.4 m³/h and 3.9 m at 17.4 m³/h. The maximum differential pressure is 6.7 bar, power input P1 max 2.68 kW (3.6 HP), nominal current 12.5–11.5 A.

Construction and control

• permanent magnet motor cooled by pumped water, motor housing and shaft made of stainless steel, efficiency at the level of IE5 class according to internal manufacturer tests
• frequency converter with pressure sensors on suction and discharge maintains constant pressure 1–12 bar (factory setting 3 bar)

• protections against dry running, overheating, freezing, blocking, cycling and abnormal current or voltage
• esy I/O module (accessory) for connection to building management system (BMS)

Operating conditions

Clean, non-viscous, non-aggressive and chemically neutral water without solid and abrasive particles up to +50 °C, ambient up to +55 °C, inlet pressure up to 5 bar, nominal pressure PN 12. The pump is not self-priming – it draws from a tank or boosts pressure from a water supply; when installed above the water level, the suction height with check valve is up to 4 m. Fixed installation in vertical position, motor protection IPX5, insulation class F. Thanks to WRAS, ACS and NSF61 certificates, it is suitable for potable water as well.

Electrical connection and commissioning should be carried out by a qualified technician; the supply must be protected by a residual current device with I Δn ≤ 30 mA.
