DAB 3 ESYBOX MAX 45/120 M (code 60217358T) consists of three electronic pumping units ESYBOX MAX 45/120 M mounted on a triple connecting base. The station increases water pressure in medium and large residential houses, commercial buildings and high-rise buildings, according to the manufacturer even above 14 floors. It is modular, so individual parts can be transported and assembled at the installation site. Quiet operation and compact dimensions allow placement even in living areas.

Operating principle

Each unit is a vertical multi-stage pump with its own frequency converter, display, pressure sensors on suction and discharge, a check valve on the discharge and an integrated expansion vessel. The electronics adjust the motor speed according to the current demand and maintain the pressure in the system at the set value in the range of 1–12 bar (factory setting 3 bar). Once the first pump is configured, the other units in the group synchronize with it automatically. According to the manufacturer's curve, the assembly delivers a head of 38.5 m at a flow rate of 25.2 m³/h.

Control and protection

Parameters are set on the large display of the pump or in the DConnect app – the units have built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The DSync function automatically sets the language, time and measurement units of the country of installation when the phone is connected. The electronics protect the pumps against dry running, overload, incorrect voltage, overheating, freezing, blocking and too frequent switching. An expansion module esy I/O is used for connection to the building management system (BMS), available as an accessory.

Installation and operation

The station is installed permanently in a vertical position. It pumps clean, chemically neutral water without solid or abrasive particles with a temperature up to 50 °C, ambient temperature may be up to 55 °C and inlet pressure up to 5 bar. According to IVAR, the complete assembly (version T) also includes a control panel and a bracket; for three units of the single-phase version, the panel E3G7.8 M 230V is intended. Electrical connection must be performed by a qualified person.
