DAB ACTIVE DRIVER PLUS T/T 3,0 (code 60169808) is an integrated control system with a frequency inverter for centrifugal pumps. It continuously adjusts motor speed according to current pressure and flow to maintain the set pressure in the system, even when water demand changes. The pump starts gradually, runs only as fast as needed, and when the flow is very low, for example due to a leaking valve, the inverter reduces the operating pressure to limit the leak.

Application

Suitable for surface pumps, 4" submersible and 5" pumps with three-phase motor 3× 380–480 V and current up to 7.5 A. Typical applications include water supply for houses and apartment buildings from wells, garden, greenhouse and agricultural irrigation, camps, use of rainwater, swimming pools and industrial operations. The inverter is intended for clean water without solid particles or fibers; it must not be used for salt water, sludge, oils or flammable or corrosive liquids.

Protection and Installation

The inverter protects the pump against dry running (with adjustable minimum flow and delayed shutdown), overcurrent, overheating of the power stage and incorrect supply voltage; it also has a freeze protection function. Up to 8 inverters of the same model with the same pumps can be connected in one group. The installation must include a shut-off valve and there must be no branches between the inverter and the pump. When commissioning, the rated motor current must be set. The electrical connection must be done by a qualified person – the manufacturer recommends a type B residual current device.

Do I need a pressure tank with the inverter?
According to the manufacturer, a pressure tank is not necessary, but the inverter can work with a tank – the algorithm can be adjusted for such operation.

What pump can I connect to model T/T 3,0?
