DAB ACTIVE SWITCH 30/50 M (code 503150100) is a complete unit for distributing rainwater and utility water in a family house. It primarily pumps rainwater from a collection tank; when there is not enough, it switches suction to water from the mains supply, ensuring that the outlets are never without water. The water from this system is not potable – it is intended for flushing the toilet, washing machine, irrigation, and cleaning floors.

How the unit works

The suction port of the automatic pump Active EI 30/50 M (hydraulics EUROINOX 30/50) has a three-way valve that switches between the rainwater collection tank and a plastic tank filled from the mains supply via a float valve. The pump operates in a start/stop mode according to pressure and flow: it turns on when pressure drops, turns off when the tap is closed, and stops when there is no water, with an indicator light on the panel; after a set time, it restarts automatically. It also includes a trap to prevent bad odors and backflow with a DN 50 drop.

Packaging and installation

The unit is delivered with a PE tank, wall bracket with accessories, and a float level sensor with a 20 m cable to the collection tank. The unit is mounted horizontally on a flat, solid wall in a dry space, at least 50 cm below the ceiling; if installed indoors, a drainage shaft must be present in the room. The power circuit must be protected by a 30 mA residual current device, and the wiring must be done by a qualified electrician.
