Pumping unit for pressure stations

ESYBOX MAX 60/120 T from manufacturer DAB is a compact electronic unit for increasing water pressure in medium and large residential buildings, commercial properties and high-rise buildings (even over 14 floors). It is mounted on the ESYDOCK MAX base unit, which is not part of the delivery: the simple version is for one pump, 2 ESYDOCK MAX for two and 3 ESYDOCK MAX for three; a station with four pumps is created by an additional set connecting two double bases. Components can be brought to the site separately and the station can be assembled only during installation (O.S.A. concept).

Performance of model 60/120 T

According to the manufacturer's performance table, the unit achieves a head of 69 m at a flow rate of 6 m³/h, 53 m at 8.4 m³/h, 37.2 m at 11.4 m³/h and 3.9 m at 17.4 m³/h. The maximum differential pressure is 6.7 bar, power P1 max 2.65 kW (3.5 HP), rated current 4.4 A.

Construction and control

• vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump with three impellers made of technopolymer with steel rings against wear, check valve on the discharge and expansion tank 2 l
• permanent magnet motor cooled by pumped water, motor housing and shaft made of stainless steel, efficiency at the level of IE5 class according to internal tests by the manufacturer
• frequency converter with pressure sensors on the suction and discharge maintains a constant pressure of 1–12 bar (factory setting 3 bar)
• large display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, DConnect app for settings, alarms and consumption overview
• protections against dry running, overheating, freezing, blocking, cycling and abnormal current or voltage
• esy I/O module (accessory) for connection to the building management system (BMS)

Operating conditions

Clean, non-viscous, non-aggressive and chemically neutral water without solid and abrasive particles up to +50 °C, ambient up to +55 °C, inlet pressure up to 5 bar, rated pressure PN 12. The pump is not self-priming – it draws water from a tank or boosts pressure from a water supply; when installed above the water level, the suction height with a check valve is up to 4 m. Fixed mounting in a vertical position, motor protection IPX5, insulation class F. Thanks to WRAS, ACS and NSF61 certificates, it is also suitable for potable water.

Electrical connection and commissioning should be entrusted to a qualified professional; the supply must be protected by a residual current device with I Δn ≤ 30 mA.

Is the mounting base part of the delivery?
No. The ESYBOX MAX 60/120 T unit is mounted on the ESYDOCK MAX base, which must be ordered separately – a simple one for one pump, 2 ESYDOCK MAX for two or 3 ESYDOCK MAX for three pumps.

Can the unit suck water from a tank below the level of the pump?
The pump is not self-priming. When installed above the water level, it must be filled with water before starting and a check valve must be installed at the beginning of the suction pipe; the suction height is then up to 4 m.

What kind of water can be pumped?
Clean, non-viscous, non-aggressive and chemically neutral water without solid and abrasive particles with a temperature up to +50 °C. Thanks to WRAS, ACS and NSF61 certificates, ESYBOX MAX is also suitable for potable water.

How is the unit set up and monitored?
