EVOPLUS B 180/280.50 SAN M (code 60151171) is a simple flanged pump from the DAB EVOPLUS series intended for larger systems. The SAN version has a bronze body, so the manufacturer recommends it for potable water – especially for circulation of hot utility water in a secondary circuit. The electronic control reacts to changing demand in the distribution and reduces speed wherever full performance is not needed.

Control and communication

The control panel has an OLED display and three navigation buttons. The factory setting is proportional differential pressure (ΔP-v), further options include constant differential pressure (ΔP-c) or constant curve. The electronics directly process start/stop, energy-saving mode, analog signals 0–10 V and 4–20 mA, PWM, temperature sensor signal for ΔT and ModBus communication; LonBus is available with an additional module. For the SAN version, the manufacturer also specifies a constant temperature mode, which maintains the water temperature in the circulation pipe without thermostatic valves.

Construction and installation

Suction and discharge flanged nozzles have threaded connections for pressure and temperature measurement. The simple design is delivered with body insulation to reduce heat loss, according to the technical sheet. The pump is installed with the motor shaft in a horizontal position; the motor has built-in protection against overload, overheating and voltage fluctuations. Connecting to the power supply should be done by a qualified technician.
