DAB.EVOPLUS D 80/240.50 M (code 60151010) is a wet rotor circulation pump with a synchronous motor with permanent magnets, whose speed is controlled by a frequency converter. It belongs to the EVOPLUS range intended for larger heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems – for apartments, single-family homes, schools, hospitals or administrative buildings. This model is dual – on a common flanged body with connection DN 50 and construction length 240 mm, there are two single-phase motors, which can alternate or operate simultaneously.

Performance of the EVOPLUS D 80/240.50 M model

The pump achieves a delivery head of up to 8 m and a flow rate of up to 49.52 m³/h, with a maximum input power P1 of 330 W. With an energy efficiency index EEI ≤ 0.22, it complies with the ErP 2009/125/ES directive. The electronics continuously evaluates changes in the system hydraulics, for example when opening and closing individual branches, and adjusts the speed accordingly – the circuit receives the required flow without unnecessary energy consumption.

Construction

The pump body is made of cast iron, the impellers from technopolymer and the stainless steel shafts rotate in ceramic bearings lubricated by the pumped liquid; the motor housings are made of pressure-cast aluminium. An automatic check valve is located in the discharge nozzle, which prevents backflow into the unit that is not currently running. The delivery includes a blind flange, which allows any motor to be removed for maintenance or service. The thermal insulation of the dual body is provided by the installation company, ensuring that it does not cover the condensate drain. The motors do not require external protection – the electronics protects them against overload, overheating, phase failure, overvoltage and undervoltage.

Installation and operating conditions

The pump is always mounted with the motor shaft in a horizontal position, the control electronics must be in a vertical position and must not be insulated. The pumped liquid must be clean, without solid particles and mineral oils, with a glycol content of up to 30 % and a temperature from −10 to +110 °C; the ambient temperature must be up to 40 °C. The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar and at least 10 m of water column must be maintained on the suction side at 90 °C, or 20 m of water column at 110 °C. Flanges DN 50 PN 10 are not part of the packaging, they are supplied on request. The cast iron version is not intended for potable water. The electrical connection (1 × 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz) and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person.
