DAB.EVOSTA2 40-70/130 1" is an electronic circulation pump for hot water heating and air conditioning circuits. A synchronous motor with a permanent magnet and a frequency inverter allow it to track pressure changes in the system and adjust performance accordingly, keeping electricity consumption low.

Suitable for replacement as well

The construction length of 130 mm and the connection match older three-stage pumps, for example the VA series, so the EVOSTA2 is also suitable as their replacement. One model covers a head of 4, 5 and 6 m, for which different pumps were previously required.

Control

• one MODE button on the front panel, three LEDs indicate the selected setting
• 9 settings: proportional pressure PP1–PP3, constant pressure CP1–CP3 and constant speed I–III
• the air vent cap also serves to manually release the shaft

Construction

• cast iron body with cathodic surface treatment, motor housing made of stainless steel
• impeller made of technopolymer, ceramic shaft mounted in graphite bearings lubricated by the pumped liquid
• waterproof electronics with IPX5 protection, insulation class F
• built-in protection against overload, overheating, overvoltage and undervoltage, external motor protection is not required
• cast iron pump body with thread G 1 1/2" (DN 25), 1" flange connection

Operating conditions

The pump transports clean, chemically neutral liquid without solid particles and mineral oils with properties similar to water, with a maximum of 30 % glycol content. The liquid temperature can be from −10 to +110 °C, the operating pressure from 1 to 10 bar and the ambient temperature up to 40 °C. It is mounted with the motor shaft in a horizontal position, the direction of flow is indicated by an arrow on the body.

The power supply is single-phase 1 × 230 V, 50/60 Hz. Electrical connection should be carried out by a qualified person. The pump meets the requirements of the ErP 2009/125/ES directive.
