DAB KVC 85-120 T (code 60179865) is a vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump of unconventional and robust construction. It is suitable for water distribution and supply in small and medium-sized buildings, for assembling automatic pressure stations, filling tanks, agricultural irrigation, washing and fire protection systems, and for transporting cooling water.

Construction

• base body made of technopolymer – suction and discharge G 1 1/4" are opposite each other in one axis (in-line), have metallic threaded inserts and a drain hole is also provided
• seven stages – impellers, diffusers and their bodies made of technopolymer
• from stainless steel AISI 304 are the pump casing, suction rings and the wall around the stuffing box
• shaft made of stainless steel AISI 303 sealed with carbon/ceramic stuffing box, all parts made of non-corrosive materials

Motor and performance

The two-pole closed asynchronous motor with external fan cooling has a rated power P2 of 3 kW (4 HP), input power P1 max. 4.3 kW and rated current 13.5 A at 3 × 230 V or 7.8 A at 3 × 400 V. The rotor runs in ball bearings with permanent grease filling, which reduce noise. Protection class IP55, insulation class F. At 2800 1/min and zero flow, the pump delivers 112.7 m, at 6 m³/h 89.9 m and at 12 m³/h 34 m. Weight is 26.5 kg.

Conditions of use

Clean water without solid substances and mineral oils, non-viscous, non-crystallizing and chemically neutral. Liquid temperature 0 to +35 °C for domestic use (EN 60335-2-41) and 0 to +40 °C for other uses, ambient temperature up to +40 °C, maximum working pressure 12 bar. The pump is mounted fixed in a vertical position. The three-phase motor must be protected against short circuit and overload; the connection must be done by a qualified person.
