DAB MCE/P 30 (code 60145922) is a frequency converter from the professional MCE/P range intended for pressure systems, for example automatic pressure stations. It is mounted on the pump motor body, cooled by air flow from the motor fan, and can operate in vertical and horizontal positions. According to the pressure sensor signal, it adjusts the pump speed and maintains the set pressure in the system, even when the demand changes.

Protection Functions

Multiple Pumps in a Group

MCE/P frequency converters are connected using a special cable via Link connectors, so they can be used to create a station with up to 8 pumps connected to a common suction and discharge pipe. The converter can also be added to existing systems. The pressure sensor is ordered separately as an accessory, and connecting cables are also required for multiple converters. Mounting kits with hooks or with a fan cover are available for installation. Electrical wiring must be performed by a qualified technician.

MCE/P is intended for pressure systems and controls based on a pressure sensor, optionally also on flow. MCE/C is used for circulation pumps in closed circuits and controls differential pressure.

Is the pressure sensor part of the package?
No, the pressure sensor is ordered as an accessory, for example 25 bar with a cable or in a 4–20 mA version. The flow sensor F3H13 or F3H15 with a bracket and cable is optional.

How many pumps can operate in one group?
Up to 8. The pumps must be connected to a common suction and discharge pipe and the converters are connected using a special cable via Link connectors.
