DAB PULSAR 40/80 M-A AD (code PULSAR4080AD) is a set of a submersible 5" pump PULSAR 40/80 M-A with a frequency inverter. A multistage monoblock pump with a stainless steel casing is used for increasing pressure, pumping water, gardening and irrigation in family homes. The single-phase version M-A is automatic with a float.

Performance of model 40/80

At zero flow, it achieves a delivery head of 64 m, at 3.6 m³/h it is 48 m, and at maximum flow of 7.2 m³/h it is 18 m. The motor has an input power P1 of 1.6 kW and output power P2 of 1.1 kW (1.5 HP), with a rated current of 7.4 A. The frequency inverter in the set adjusts the pump speed according to water demand.

Construction

• pump casing, filter cover and outer cladding made of stainless steel AISI 304, impellers, diffusers and suction filter made of technopolymer
• hydraulics below the motor, motor cooled by flowing water, minimum non-drainable residual volume
• double mechanical seal with an oil chamber (ceramic – carbon on the motor side, silicon carbide on the pump side) – sealing even in short dry runs
• shaft made of stainless steel AISI 303 in rolling bearings
• thermal and current protection and a permanently connected capacitor 25 µF in the single-phase version

Operating conditions

The pumped water must be clean, free of abrasive substances, with a temperature of 0 to +40 °C and a maximum sand content of 50 g/m³. The pump with a diameter of 138 mm and a discharge connection of 1 1/4" can be submerged to a maximum depth of 20 m, can operate vertically or horizontally, fixed or as portable. Protection class IP68, insulation class F, maximum 20 starts per hour, cable 15 m H07RN-F. The pump height is 630 mm, weight 18.5 kg. Electrical connection must be performed by a qualified person.
