DAB.EVOPLUS B 100/280.50 M (code 60150973) is a wet rotor circulation pump with a synchronous motor with permanent magnets, whose speed is controlled by a frequency converter. It belongs to the EVOPLUS range intended for larger heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems – for apartments, family homes, schools, hospitals or administrative buildings. This model has a simple flanged version with a single-phase motor, DN 50 connection and a construction length of 280 mm.

Performance of the EVOPLUS B 100/280.50 M model

The pump achieves a head of up to 10 m and a flow rate of up to 30.08 m³/h, with a maximum input power P1 of 430 W. With an energy efficiency index EEI ≤ 0.20, it meets the ErP 2009/125/ES directive. The electronics continuously evaluates changes in the system hydraulics, for example when opening or closing individual branches, and adjusts the speed accordingly – the circuit receives the required flow without unnecessary energy consumption.

Construction

The pump body is made of cast iron, the impeller is made of technopolymer and the stainless steel shaft rotates in ceramic bearings lubricated by the pumped liquid; the motor housing is made of pressure-cast aluminium. The suction and discharge nozzles have threaded connections for pressure and temperature measurement. Thermal insulation of the body is part of the delivery – it reduces heat losses and condensation formation, so the pump can also handle cooling circuits with liquid colder than the environment. The motor does not require external protection: the electronics protects it against overload, overheating, phase failure and overvoltage and undervoltage.

Installation and operating conditions

The pump is always mounted with the motor shaft in a horizontal position, the control electronics must be in a vertical position and must not be insulated. The pumped liquid must be clean, free of solid particles and mineral oils, with a glycol content of up to 30 % and a temperature from −10 to +110 °C; the ambient temperature may be up to 40 °C. The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar and at least 10 m WS must be maintained on the suction side at 90 °C, or 20 m WS at 110 °C. Flanges DN 50 PN 10 are not part of the packaging, they are supplied on order. The cast iron version is not intended for potable water. The electrical connection (1 × 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz) and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person.
