DAB.EVOPLUS B 180/250.40 M (code 60150969) is a wet rotor circulation pump with a synchronous motor with permanent magnets, whose speed is controlled by a frequency converter. It belongs to the EVOPLUS range intended for larger heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems – apartments, single-family houses, schools, hospitals or administrative buildings. This model has a simple flanged version with a single-phase motor, DN 40 connection and a construction length of 250 mm.

Performance of the EVOPLUS B 180/250.40 M model

The pump achieves a pumping head of up to 18 m and a flow rate of up to 25.65 m³/h, with a maximum input power P1 of 610 W. With an energy efficiency index EEI ≤ 0.20, it complies with the ErP 2009/125/ES directive. The electronics continuously evaluates changes in the system hydraulics, for example when opening and closing individual branches, and adjusts the speed accordingly – the circuit receives the required flow without unnecessary energy consumption.

Construction

The pump body is made of cast iron, the impeller is made of technopolymer and the stainless steel shaft rotates in ceramic bearings lubricated by the pumped liquid; the motor housing is made of pressure-cast aluminium. The suction and discharge nozzles have threaded connections for pressure and temperature measurement. Thermal insulation of the body is part of the delivery – it reduces heat losses and condensation formation, so the pump can also handle cooling circuits with liquid colder than the surroundings. The motor does not require external protection: the electronics protects it against overload, overheating, phase loss and overvoltage and undervoltage.

Installation and operating conditions

The pump must always be installed with the motor shaft in a horizontal position, the control electronics must be in a vertical position and must not be insulated. The pumped liquid must be clean, without solid particles and mineral oils, with a glycol content of up to 30 % and a temperature from −10 to +110 °C; the ambient temperature must be up to 40 °C. The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar and at least 10 m w.c. must be maintained on the suction side at 90 °C, or 20 m w.c. at 110 °C. Flanges DN 40 PN 10 are not part of the packaging, they are supplied on order. The cast iron version is not intended for potable water. Electrical connection (1 × 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz) and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person.
