DAB.EVOPLUS B 40/360.80 M (code 60150987) is a wet rotor circulation pump with a synchronous motor with permanent magnets, whose speed is controlled by a frequency converter. It belongs to the EVOPLUS range intended for larger heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems – apartment and single-family houses, schools, hospitals or administrative buildings. This model has a simple flanged version with a single-phase motor, connection DN 80 and a construction length of 360 mm.

Performance of model EVOPLUS B 40/360.80 M

The pump achieves a delivery head of up to 4 m and a flow rate of up to 37.30 m³/h, with a maximum input power P1 of 330 W. The electronics continuously evaluates changes in the system hydraulics, for example when opening and closing individual branches, and adjusts the speed accordingly – the circuit receives the required flow without unnecessary energy consumption.

Construction

The pump body is made of cast iron, the impeller is made of technopolymer and the stainless steel shaft rotates in ceramic bearings lubricated by the pumped liquid; the motor housing is made of pressure-cast aluminium. The suction and discharge nozzles have threaded connections for pressure and temperature measurement. Thermal insulation of the body is part of the delivery – it limits heat losses and condensation formation, so the pump can also handle cooling circuits with liquid colder than the environment. The motor does not require external protection: the electronics protects it against overload, overheating, phase loss and overvoltage and undervoltage.

Installation and operating conditions

The pump is always mounted with the motor shaft in a horizontal position, the control electronics must be in a vertical position and must not be insulated. The pumped liquid must be clean, without solid particles and mineral oils, with a glycol content of at most 30 % and a temperature from −10 to +110 °C; the ambient temperature may be at most 40 °C. The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar and at least 20 m water column must be maintained on the suction side at 90 °C, or 25 m water column at 100 °C. Flanges DN 80 PN 10 are not part of the packaging, they are supplied on request. The cast iron version is not intended for potable water. Electrical connection (1 × 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz) and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person.
