The two-pole DC circuit breaker GEYA GYM10-DC with a rated current of 20 A is a protective device designed exclusively for direct current (DC) circuits with a maximum operating voltage of 500 V DC. You will primarily use it to protect photovoltaic panel strings, DC inputs of inverters, battery systems, and DC power distribution circuits.

Unlike standard AC circuit breakers, it features a special arc extinguishing chamber with permanent magnets, which quickly and reliably extinguishes the DC electric arc generated when disconnecting a loaded circuit or during a short circuit. The device ensures reliable disconnection of both poles (+ and −) in a DC circuit. The rated breaking capacity of 4.5 kA provides sufficient safety margin for photovoltaic installations and DC distribution panels.
