The two-pole DC circuit breaker GEYA GYM10-DC 25 A is a specialized protective device designed exclusively for direct current (DC) circuits with a maximum operating voltage of 500 V DC. You will primarily use it for the protection of individual photovoltaic panel strings, DC inputs of inverters, battery systems, and direct current power distribution circuits.

Unlike standard AC circuit breakers, it features a special arc extinguishing chamber and permanent magnets that ensure fast and reliable extinguishing of the direct current electric arc. This arc occurs when disconnecting a loaded circuit or during a short circuit. The device disconnects both poles (+ and -) of the DC circuit and clearly marked polarity simplifies correct wiring. The rated breaking capacity of 4.5 kA provides sufficient safety margin for photovoltaic installations and DC distribution panels.
