IVAR.K45 PPSU 26 × 26 (code 82826201) is an elbow of the IVAR.PRESS system with two press-on collars of the same diameter 26 mm for multilayer pipes ALPEX and TURATEC as well as PEX pipes. It changes the direction of the pipe by 45° – suitable for a slight deviation of the route or bypassing an obstacle.

- body made of PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) plastic resistant to corrosion and deposits
- stainless steel press-on collars AISI 304 and sealing O-rings made of EPDM
- locking ring made of polycarbonate with inspection windows for checking the position of the pipe
- hygienic certificate for drinking water, operation up to PN 10 at a temperature of +3 to +95 °C
How to install the elbow
- cut the pipe perpendicularly to the axis, then calibrate and deburr it using the original IVAR tools
- slide the elbow onto the pipe along one axis and without twisting; to facilitate the process, do not use water, oil or grease
- press using an approved radial pressing device with contour B or F jaws for a diameter of 26 mm
- the joint can be loaded immediately after pressing, work is done without an open flame
If you forget to press any joint, it will not leak during a pressure test in the range of 1 to 6.5 bar, so the error will become apparent before you cover the pipe run. The elbow can also be embedded in the floor, shaft or behind plaster; however, it must be protected from UV radiation and weather influences. The IVAR.K45 PPSU range is manufactured in sizes from 26 to 63 mm, for right-angle direction changes use IVAR.K PPSU elbows. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for connecting pipes with IVAR.PRESS fittings.

For which pipes is the 26x26 elbow intended?
For multilayer pipes ALPEX and TURATEC and PEX pipes with a diameter of 26 mm. Both collars have the same dimensions, for transitions between diameters there are reduced fittings in the system.
Can the elbow be embedded in the floor or behind plaster?
Yes, IVAR.PRESS pressed joints can also be inaccessible – in the floor, shaft or behind plaster. However, the system must not be exposed to UV radiation or weather influences.
What tools do I need for installation?
A cutter or scissors for perpendicular cutting of the pipe, original IVAR calibration and deburring tools, and an approved pressing device with contour B or F jaws for a diameter of 26 mm.
How do I recognize an unpressed joint?
During a pressure test in the range of 1 to 6.5 bar, an unpressed joint will leak water. The correct insertion of the pipe before pressing can be verified in the inspection windows of the locking ring.
