PNI GV10 is an electromagnetic valve for a gas pipe with 1 inch internal thread on both the inlet and outlet. It functions as the active part of a gas detector: when the detector in the room detects a leak at the alarm level, it beeps and the valve closes the gas supply.

The valve closes with a short impulse of 9–12 V DC and the closing lasts up to 1 second. After the cause of the leak is removed, it can be opened manually: after removing the protective cover, it is sufficient to lift the red button.

The body is made of an aluminum alloy and the seals are made of NBR rubber resistant to moisture. The valve is small (77 × 45 × 115 mm) and light, its weight is 0.3 kg.

Installation and compatibility

The valve is mounted on a gas pipe at an accessible and ventilated location. The operating temperature is −10 to +50 °C. Before purchase, please check that the diameter of your connection corresponds to the 1 inch thread and that the control output of your detector provides an impulse of 9–12 V.

Intervention in the gas supply and its commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person with professional competence in gas equipment. The valve does not replace the inspection of the gas equipment.
