Hot water from air! Saving on operating costs. Heat pumps ELÍZ for water heating meet the latest trends in the use of green energy. They operate on the air-to-water principle with a high energy efficiency class A. They successfully replace conventional electric water heaters. The outdoor unit with low power draws energy directly from the air, which its compressor converts into heat. The generated heat is transferred to the condensing heat exchanger, which heats the water in the water heater with its large surface area around the tank. The heat pump system consists of 2 parts: - outdoor unit with evaporator and compressor - indoor unit (water heater) with built-in condensing heat exchanger and additional electric heating element These two units are connected by copper piping, in which the refrigerant R134a circulates. The recommended distance between the units is max. 8 meters. Control of the heat pump The entire water heating process is controlled by a digital control unit with a color display, built into the indoor unit (water heater) and connected to the control component of the outdoor unit. The electronics are controlled by simple and intuitive software specially designed for the automation of water heating control. After turning on the water heater, the program automatically selects the most suitable heat source. The electronics allow water heating in several modes - heat pump, electric heating element, or Intensive heating (use of all heat sources simultaneously for even faster water heating). The maximum water temperature when heated by the heat pump is 55°C, when using the additional electric heating element up to 75°C. The electronics display the operation of the heat pump, the water temperature in the tank of the heater, the outside temperature, and all system and error messages (if they occur). It provides a wide range of settings for operating parameters, setting water heating timers, displaying statistics and graphs of electricity consumption (separately for the heat pump and for the electric heating element), and diagnostics (list) of recorded problems with exact time and date. The water heater tank is made of high-quality steel protected by a layer of zirconium glaze. The high-quality CFC-free polyurethane insulation of 33 mm thickness ensures low heat losses and thus increases the savings on water heating costs.
