• What tank volume should I choose? A standard estimate of consumption is about 40-50 liters of hot water (at about 40-45 °C) per person and day at standard consumption (showering, hand washing); when bathing in a bathtub or with a larger number of bathrooms/outlets, a higher volume should be considered. When choosing, also consider whether the tank will be heated by a high-performance boiler (faster heating, a smaller volume may be sufficient) or e.g. only by a solar system (where on the contrary a larger volume is more suitable for heat accumulation during the day).
