Electric water pressure heater ELÍZ EURO 80 Z with a volume of 80 liters in the SLIM version is suitable for one or more consumption points. It is intended for vertical wall mounting. The water heater tank is made of high-quality steel protected by a layer of zirconium glaze. High-quality polyurethane insulation without CFC, 33 mm thick, ensures low heat loss and saves costs for water heating. Using the thermostat located on the control panel, you can set the water temperature in the range of 7 - 75°C, with the possibility to set the ECO mode. In ECO mode, the water is heated to an optimal temperature of 55°C, with reduced heat loss and lower electricity consumption. The minimum thermostat setting serves as protection against freezing of water in the heater. The heater has built-in double anode rods that guarantee effective tank corrosion protection and significantly extend its lifespan. The switch with a heating indicator light is used to turn the heater on / off in case of absence, which allows energy saving. - What tank capacity should I choose? A standard estimate of consumption is about 40-50 liters of hot water (at about 40-45 °C) per person and day at standard consumption (showering, hand washing); when bathing in a bathtub or with a higher number of bathrooms/outlets, a higher volume should be considered. Also consider whether the tank will be heated by a high-performance boiler (faster heating, a smaller volume may be sufficient) or e.g. only by a solar system (where, on the contrary, a larger volume is more suitable for heat accumulation during the day).
- Can I connect this ELIZ tank to an existing boiler? In most cases yes, but you should check the compatibility of the hydraulic connection (dimensions and type of connections) and whether your boiler supports tank heating control (temperature sensor in the tank and possibly a switching valve are required) - these details can be found in the product technical specifications or our customer service can advise you.
- Where and how should the tank be placed? The tank should be placed as close as possible to the heat source (boiler), in order to minimize heat loss in the connecting piping, but also with sufficient space around for service access (anode replacement, safety valve inspection).
- Must the installation be done by a professional? We always recommend that the hydraulic connection to the water supply and to the heat source, including the installation of the safety valve at the correct pressure, be carried out by a heating technician / plumber - an incorrectly installed or missing safety valve represents a safety risk.
