Energy-saving circulation of heating water

The EVOSTA2 40-70/180X is a low-energy electronic circulator from DAB, designed to circulate water in all types of residential heating and air-conditioning systems. The permanent-magnet synchronous motor and inverter ensure high efficiency. The electronics detect pressure changes in the system and automatically adapt the pump output. The energy efficiency index EEI is 0.18 and maximum power input is 35 W.

Easy replacement of an old pump

The 180X version has an installation length of 180 mm and a DN 32 threaded connection (G 2" pump thread) for 1 1/4" unions. The EVOSTA2 range shares the installation length and connection of, for example, the VA series, making it a suitable replacement for old three-speed circulators – a single type covers heads of 4, 5 and 6 m.

One-button setting

The pump is operated with the MODE button on the front panel, which selects one of nine settings: proportional pressure PP1–PP3, constant pressure CP1–CP3 or constant speed I–III. Three LEDs show the current choice. The vent plug is used to bleed the system and to release the motor shaft manually.

Construction and operating conditions

The pumped liquid must be clean, free of solids and mineral oils, non-viscous, chemically neutral and similar to water in its properties. Have the electrical connection made by a qualified professional.
