The IVAR.FARNA.BIG (code FARNABSC1II) is a compact wall-mounted fan coil unit in 2-pipe design that heats and cools the room with a single appliance. Air is drawn in at the front, the fan is driven by an energy-saving DC Inverter motor and the heat exchanger has an optimised air flow. It suits low-temperature heat sources such as a heat pump, condensing boiler or solar system. The smaller version in the range is the IVAR.FARNA (1.80 kW / 1.50 kW).

What to order in addition
The remote control is part of the standard equipment. The control – for example the IVAR.044 LCD control in the Modbus or Wi-Fi version for the Innova Butler app, or the IVAR.B4V, B10, 045 and 046 control boards – and the connection kit must be ordered separately. Have the electrical connection made by a qualified electrician.

Frequently asked questions
Is the control included with the fan coil?
No, the control has to be ordered separately, for example the IVAR.044 LCD control in the Modbus or Wi-Fi version. The connection kit is also ordered separately, while the remote control comes as standard.
How high can the fan coil be mounted?
The unit is designed for wall mounting and can sit low near the floor or higher up, but no more than 2.2 m above the floor. The pipes are always connected on the left.
Does the fan coil need a condensate pump?
No condensate pump is fitted and, thanks to the design, none is needed in a normal installation. Condensate drains from the built-in tray through a pipe sloping outwards.
How is the air filter cleaned?
Pull the filter upwards to remove it, vacuum it and rinse it under running water without detergents. Disconnect the unit from the mains before cleaning.
