The combustion chamber gasket and sealant are not included in the package. The gasket S0951 belongs with this side brick, and V0345 can be used as the sealant.

Older year of manufacture – different part

For DC25GS and GS25 boilers manufactured up to 31.12.2016, the side brick DC0162 is used. For the DC25GSE boiler manufactured up to 14.4.2012, the side brick DC0177 is intended. Before ordering, therefore, check the boiler type as well as the date of manufacture.

• How do I choose the right output for a solid fuel boiler? Start from the calculated heat loss of the heated building. However, with wood/coal boilers also consider that during a single load the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output - which is why it is common practice to add an accumulation tank to the boiler, which stores the surplus heat for later use instead of the boiler having to be throttled down inefficiently.
• What else do I need to install this boiler? Besides the boiler itself, the system generally requires: an accumulation (buffer) tank of suitable volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or a thermostatic valve protecting the boiler against low-temperature corrosion), a safety valve, an expansion vessel, and a flue/chimney with sufficient draught matching the boiler output - you will find the exact chimney draught values in the technical parameters above.
• Which fuel is suitable and which is not? Use exclusively the fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (usually log wood of defined length and moisture content, or brown coal briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or too moist fuel reduces efficiency, increases the formation of tar and deposits, and can cause damage to the boiler.
• What about the chimney inspection and legislation? Before the boiler is put into operation, and also regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), an inspection/sweeping of the chimney by an authorised chimney sweep is required by law - without the relevant inspection report, an insurance claim in the event of a fire may also be disputed.
