Flange IVAR.IVN452 76.1 mm connects a stainless steel crimping system with flanged fittings and devices. On one side it has a sleeve into which a 76.1 mm pipe is inserted and crimped, on the other side it has a DN 65 flange. The sleeve diameter corresponds to the pipe, so the fitting is not reduced. It is made of stainless steel AISI 304 (material 1.4301), and the crimped joint is sealed with an EPDM O-ring.

Application and operating limits
The flange is suitable for closed heating and cooling circuits, solar systems, compressed air and vacuum distribution, inert and technical gases, technical and operational liquids, and for draining waste and rainwater. It can withstand a pressure up to PN 16, a vacuum down to -0.8 bar (absolute pressure 0.2 bar), an operating temperature from -20 °C to +85 °C with a maximum of +120 °C, and a non-freezing mixture with a concentration of up to 50 %. It is not suitable for potable water – this is indicated by a symbol on the fitting, marked together with the AISI 304 logo, dimensions, and traceability code.
Installation
For the size of 76.1 mm, the LBP O-ring and the orange indicator strip are not supplied (the manufacturer provides them only for sizes 15 to 54 mm), so the crimping must be checked especially carefully. It is crimped using jaws with contour M. The installation should be carried out by a specialist following the manufacturer's installation instructions; before starting the heating system, the manufacturer emphasizes the need to flush the entire system and recommends using the preparation GEL.LONG LIFE 100 for water treatment.
