IVAR.FLAT-5000 (code S065) is a low-profile tank with a volume of 5000 liters for underground installation. It retains rainwater or serves as a reserve of utility water for the building, which is then further used. It is not intended for drinking water.

Installation and maintenance
The tank is carefully lowered onto a compacted base or a concrete slab and backfilled with gravel of 4–8 or 8–16 mm fraction. The backfill is manually compacted in layers of approximately 30 cm, while the tank is gradually filled with water to one third and then to two thirds of its height. The soil layer above the tank should not exceed 100 cm and the surface above is intended only for occasional foot traffic. In the case of a high groundwater level or in clay soil, the method of installation should be agreed with the designer. It is recommended to check the filters and tightness approximately once a year and to remove settled sludge roughly every 5 years.

Can I store drinking water in the tank?
No, the FLAT tank is intended for rainwater and utility water. It is not suitable for drinking water.
Is the extension part of the package?
Yes, the extension with a lockable manhole is delivered together with the tank. It is attached with the supplied screws and gasket and can be shortened along the dividing lines if needed.
Can I drive or build over the tank?
No. No construction is allowed on the surface above the tank, only occasional foot traffic is permitted.
