Hello, we need a float switch for our sump pump in the basement and my dad asked me to check this one out. The cable is 10m, but does it matter that it says H07 RNF - is that like a special waterproof cable or just a regular one?

H07 RNF is a rubber cable made for tough and wet conditions, so it's well suited for use in water. The float switch itself is also fully waterproof, so the whole thing is fine for a sump pump setup. You can also adjust the water level at which it switches the pump on or off by sliding the weight along the cable, which is handy.
