FRESIA Element AV-TTW6-W is a small heat recovery unit that ventilates one room without the need to run ducts throughout the apartment. It is installed in a single opening in the exterior wall and alternately brings in fresh air from outside and removes stale air from the interior. The heat from the outgoing air is captured in a ceramic core and transferred to the incoming air in the next cycle.

The unit operates on a push-pull principle with a 75-second cycle. The ceramic regenerative heat exchanger stores heat and part of the humidity, so the air is not as dry as when ventilating with an open window. The thermal efficiency according to EPREL data is 76 %, and the manufacturer states a regeneration efficiency of up to 97 % (heat together with humidity) for the ceramic core alone.

Thanks to a maximum power consumption of 11.3 W and an annual consumption of around 1.3 kWh, the operation cost is practically negligible in the household budget. The fan with a reverse EC motor is quiet – the sound power level according to the energy label is 36 dB, and the unit has an energy class A.

The Element is suitable for apartments after insulation and window replacement, in bathrooms, children's rooms, offices, hotel rooms, and small businesses where humidity increases and mold formation is a risk. One unit covers a room of approximately 20–25 m², and two units in paired mode ventilate a space up to about 50 m².

Installation

• A core hole of Ø170 mm is drilled into the wall, into which a duct of Ø159 mm is inserted.
• The suitable wall thickness is 230–420 mm; for thicker walls, a duct of 600 mm length is optional.
• The internal front panel has dimensions of 205 × 205 mm and protrudes from the wall by only 60 mm, while the external cover is 129 mm.
• The front cover has an automatic flap that closes when the unit is turned off.
• The unit is powered from the 220–240 V AC network, with an IP22 protection rating.

Control and paired operation

Three modes are available – supply, exhaust, and regeneration (heat recovery) – and three performance levels of 26 / 55 / 64 m³/h. You can control the unit using the included remote control or via Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz in the Smart Life / Tuya app. Two units can be connected in Leader–Follower mode: while one brings in air, the other exhausts it, so the room is ventilated evenly. The recommended distance between them is 8–15 m.

Common questions

Is one unit enough?
Yes, for one room up to about 25 m². For larger spaces or multiple rooms, we recommend two units in paired mode.

How often should it be cleaned?
Filters according to contamination, at least 3–4 times a year. The ceramic heat exchanger is sufficient to vacuum once a year.

Can it be used in the kitchen or workshop?
No, for extracting steam containing oil, soot, coarse dust, or chemical vapors – the unit is intended for standard ventilation of residential and office spaces.
