FRESIA Element AV-TTW6-W is a compact heat recovery unit that ventilates a single room without the need to run ducts throughout the apartment. It is fitted into a single opening in an exterior wall and alternately supplies fresh air from outside and extracts stale air from the interior. The heat from the extracted air is captured in the ceramic core and released to the incoming air in the next cycle.

The unit works on the push-pull principle with a 75-second cycle. The ceramic regenerative exchanger stores heat as well as part of the moisture, so in winter ventilation does not dry out the air the way an open window does. The thermal efficiency according to EPREL is 76%; for the ceramic core alone, the manufacturer states a regeneration efficiency of up to 97% (heat together with moisture).

With a maximum power input of 11.3 W and annual consumption of around 1.3 kWh, running costs are practically negligible in a household budget. The fan with a reversible EC motor is quiet – the sound power level according to the energy label is 36 dB, and the unit has energy class A.

Element is suitable for apartments after insulation and window replacement, bedrooms, children's rooms, offices, hotel rooms and smaller commercial premises where humidity rises and mould can develop. One unit covers a room of approximately 20–25 m², and two units in paired mode ventilate a space of up to approx. 50 m².

Installation

• A single Ø170 mm core hole is drilled in the wall, into which a Ø159 mm air duct is inserted.
• The suitable wall thickness is 230–420 mm; for thicker walls, an optional 600 mm air duct is available.
• The interior front panel measures 205 × 205 mm and protrudes only 60 mm from the wall, the outdoor cap 129 mm.
• The front cover has an automatic flap that closes when the unit is switched off.
• The unit is powered from a 220–240 V AC supply, protection rating IP22.

Control and paired operation

Three modes are available – supply, extract and regeneration (heat recovery) – and three performance levels of 26 / 55 / 64 m³/h. You control the unit with the supplied remote control or via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi in the Smart Life / Tuya app. Two units can be linked in Leader–Follower mode: while one supplies air, the other extracts it, so the room is ventilated in a balanced way. The recommended distance between them is 8–15 m.

Frequently asked questions

Is one unit enough?
For a single room of up to approx. 25 m², yes. For a larger space or several rooms, we recommend two units in paired mode.

How often does it need cleaning?
The filters according to the level of contamination, at least 3–4 times a year. The ceramic exchanger only needs to be vacuumed once a year.

Can it be used in a kitchen or workshop?
Not for extracting vapours containing oil, soot, coarse dust or chemical fumes – the unit is designed for regular ventilation of residential and office spaces.
