Thermia BW ATLAS 12 DUO is a premium inverter heat pump ground/water in version DUO: the unit is lower and hot water is prepared in a separate standing stainless steel tank type MBH TWS, which is not part of the delivery. The performance is smoothly adjusted to the need in the range of 3–12 kW, the output water reaches up to 65 °C. The ATLAS range is suitable for new buildings and renovations with heat loss up to 30 kW.

Efficiency and Noise

SCOP 5.86 at 35 °C and 4.39 at 55 °C (EN 14825, cold climate), COP 4.75 at B0/W35, energy class A+++. The sound power level of the DUO version is 31–45 dB(A).

Dimensions and Connection

Width 598 mm, depth approximately 710 mm, height 1450 mm, weight 127 kg. Non-freezing fluid 28 mm (left, right or top), heating system 28 mm and a separate connection 28 mm for heating water to the hot water tank. Power supply 400 V 3N~, circuit breaker 10–25 A according to the setting of the auxiliary heating. Passive cooling is possible through a mixed circuit even without an expansion card, full control of cooling and pool heating with card EM3.

Installation: The heat pump is designed in the HPC software, installation and electrical connection must be performed by a professional company.

A mixture of water and ethanol with anti-corrosion additives with a freezing point of −17 °C (±2 °C). The heat pump itself contains approximately 2 l of fluid and the venting and expansion tank approximately 3 l, the remaining volume depends on the length of the collector.
