Horizontal distribution manifold IVAR.HC-DN 40 for 2 boiler modules DN 40, flanged DN 100
Code: IVA49043680Product detailed description
The distributor IVAR.HC-DN 40 in the version for 2 modules (code IVA49043680) forms the basis of a modular boiler room: non-mixing modules IVAR.S-300 DN 40 and mixing modules IVAR.TV3-300 DN 40 are directly bolted to its outlets. It consists of two mutually separated cylindrical chambers with thermal insulation and is used in heating and cooling systems with a closed water circuit.
Parameters
- power up to 750 kW at ΔT 20 K, flow 33 000 l/h, inlet speed 1.00 m/s
- primary connection with flanges DN 100 with 8 holes
- 2 flanged connections DN 40 with 4 holes for modules, axial distance 300 mm
- max. operating pressure 6 bar, max. temperature +100 °C
- steel FE EN 10217-1, insulation from EPP 40 g/l (λ 0.036 W/m·K at 10 °C)
- dimensions 1360 × 420 × 945 mm
Expansion and accessories
The distributor can be extended with a hydraulic separator IVAR.HS 220. Smaller modules can be connected via reduction kits IVAR.CONNECTA RG DN 40 – DN 32 (IVA49201110) and RG DN 32 – DN 25 (IVA49200420). Several distributors can be connected in series using axial reductions or connected at a 90° angle with the CONNECTA A 90 set (IVA49201180), which is helpful in a cramped boiler room. Ordered separately are also floor support brackets CONNECTA PC (IVA49018205), blanking flanges CONNECTA FC (IVA49156730) and a set of bolts, nuts and gaskets CONNECTA VC (IVA49156710).
Installation
The packaging includes the distributor body and thermal insulation. The product is heavy, so use a pallet truck for handling. The manufacturer recommends leaving at least 30 cm of free space from the wall for maintenance and possible insulation disassembly. Installation should be carried out by a professional heating company; the system must be flushed before commissioning.

Frequently asked questions
How many boiler modules can be connected to the distributor?
The version IVA49043680 has 2 flanged connections DN 40, so you can connect 2 modules IVAR.S-300 DN 40 or IVAR.TV3-300 DN 40 to it. For 3 modules, the variant IVA49043681 is available.
Can modules of smaller dimensions also be connected?
Yes, via reduction kits IVAR.CONNECTA RG DN 40 – DN 32 (IVA49201110) and RG DN 32 – DN 25 (IVA49200420).
What is included in the packaging and what needs to be purchased separately?
The distributor body with thermal insulation is delivered. Floor support brackets CONNECTA PC (IVA49018205), blanking flanges, a set of bolts and elbows for corner connections must be ordered separately.
Can a hydraulic separator be added to the distributor?
Yes, the distributor is prepared for the addition of a hydraulic separator IVAR.HS 220, which is connected via flanges DN 100.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
