How the heating film works

• Lamination only on the bottom layer of the underlay – only the bottom layer is laminated, so that the electrical connection between the film and the compression connector is as durable as possible.
• Low construction height – 5 mm plus the target floor layer.
• No need to break the floor – the film can be placed on an existing floor.
• Suitable for dry construction.

Application and installation

The wider version of the film (1 m) is suitable where you want to cover a larger area with fewer strips. It is sold by the meter, so you only pay for the length you actually use. One strip may be up to 10 m long and its installed power must not exceed 1200 W. The film can be cut every 25 cm and thus adapted to the shape of the room.

It is intended for heating floors and walls. Due to its small thickness, you can lay it on the original floor. Connecting to the electrical network and setting the thermostat should be entrusted to a qualified electrician.

Composite and ladder film – what is the difference

The new generation composite film differs from the ladder film mainly in construction and the way it distributes heat. The ladder film, on the other hand, is constructed from parallel heating strips that resemble a ladder, and heat is mainly generated in the "rungs", so compared to the composite, it is more concentrated in defined areas.
