HT branch
Code: HTODBOCKA40/40-45Product detailed description
HT 45° branch – connecting a side branch to the waste pipe
The branch is used to join another line into a continuous internal drainage pipe. The side socket forms a 45° angle with the axis, so the inflow merges smoothly with the main flow and no backwater is created. The fitting is made of polypropylene and is part of the HT socket system.

Available combinations
- Equal: 32/32, 40/40, 50/50, 75/75 and 110/110 mm
- Reducing: 75/50, 110/50 and 110/75 mm
The first number indicates the diameter of the through section, the second the diameter of the side socket.
Where it is used
On stacks when connecting branch pipes from individual floors, on horizontal drain pipes when joining two branches, and wherever a new sanitary fixture needs to be added to an existing run. A reducing branch saves a separate reducer when a smaller pipe is connected to a larger one.
Material resistance
The fitting withstands wastewater with a temperature of up to 100 °C in the long term, as well as alkaline and acidic environments and common cleaning agents. It is unsuitable only for media with a high content of organic solvents, such as petrol or acetone.
Installation guidelines
- The side socket must always point against the flow so that the inflow enters in the direction of flow.
- On a horizontal pipe, turn the branch obliquely upwards, not into the horizontal plane – this prevents sewage from flowing back into the connected branch.
- When inserting it into an existing run, allow for the installation length of the fitting and use a slip coupling for reconnection.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How can I check that this part fits my HEPWORTH pipe? Compare the size (pipe diameter in mm or inch thread) given in the name of this product with the diameter of your pipe - the HEPWORTH system uses its own precisely defined size ranges.
- Does the installation have to be carried out by a professional? Clips, anchors and wall brackets are common installation accessories that are also suitable for DIY installation; we recommend having the connection of the pipework to a working heating or water system checked by a professional.
