Adapter IVAR.IVN480 15 mm × Rp1/2" is a press-fit fitting made of stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304), connecting a press-fitted pipe with a threaded connection. One end is a press-fit socket for a 15 mm pipe, the other is an internal pipe thread Rp1/2" (configuration PRESS × THREAD). The press-fitted connection is sealed with an EPDM O-ring.

Press-fit Indication
Until the press-fit socket is properly pressed, the connection deliberately does not seal, so any missed press-fit will be evident during pressure testing. A completed connection is also indicated by a press-fit indicator. Both functions are available in the IVAR.IVN480 range for sizes up to 54 mm.
Warning: Pressing and sealing of the thread should be performed by a qualified fitter using appropriate pressing tools.
For 15 mm pipe, the IVAR.IVN480 range also includes an adapter with a Rp3/4" thread. The entire range covers sizes from 15 mm × Rp1/2" up to 54 mm × Rp2".
