IVAR.IVN480 35 mm × Rp1" internal thread reducer, crimped, stainless steel AISI 304
Code: IVN480.3510Product detailed description
Adapter IVAR.IVN480 35 mm × Rp1" is a press-fit fitting made of stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304), which connects a press-fitted pipe with a threaded connection. One end features a press-fit socket for a 35 mm pipe, the other has an internal pipe thread Rp1" (configuration PRESS × THREAD). The connection on the press-fitted side is sealed with an EPDM O-ring.
Fields of Application
- closed heating and cooling systems
- solar systems
- compressed air and vacuum systems
- inert and technical gases
- technical and operational liquids, industrial applications
- sewage and rainwater
Potable water is not among the listed applications.
Operating Parameters
- pressure class PN 16
- operating temperature -20 °C to +85 °C, maximum +120 °C
Press-fit Indication
Until the press-fit socket is properly pressed, the connection deliberately does not seal, so any missed press-fit will become apparent during pressure testing. A completed connection is additionally indicated by a press-fit indicator. Both functions are available in the IVAR.IVN480 range for dimensions up to 54 mm.
Warning: Press-fitting and sealing of the thread should be performed by a qualified fitter using appropriate press-fitting tools.
For a 35 mm pipe, the IVAR.IVN480 range also includes an adapter with a Rp5/4" thread. The entire range covers dimensions from 15 mm × Rp1/2" up to 54 mm × Rp2".

Frequently Asked Questions
For which types of piping is the IVAR.IVN480 35 mm × Rp1" adapter suitable?
The manufacturer recommends it for closed heating and cooling systems, solar circuits, compressed air and vacuum systems, inert and technical gases, technical and operational liquids, as well as sewage and rainwater. Potable water is not among these applications.
What is connected to each end of the adapter?
A 35 mm pipe is inserted into and pressed into the press-fit socket. A component with an external thread of the corresponding size is screwed into the internal Rp1" thread.
How do I know if the connection remains unpressed?
An unpressed socket deliberately does not seal, so the error will become apparent during pressure testing. A completed connection is also indicated by the press-fit indicator.
What pressure and temperature can the adapter withstand?
The adapter belongs to pressure class PN 16 and is designed for operating temperatures from -20 °C to +85 °C, up to a maximum of +120 °C. The press-fit connection is sealed with an EPDM O-ring.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
