Reducer IVAR.IVN480 35 mm × Rp5/4" is a press fitting made of stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304), which connects a pressed pipe system with a threaded connection. One end forms a press fitting for a pipe with a diameter of 35 mm, the other end has an internal pipe thread Rp5/4" (configuration PRESS × THREAD). The connection on the pressed side is sealed with an EPDM O-ring.

Pressing verification
Until the press fitting is properly pressed, the connection deliberately leaks, so any missed pressing will be evident during a pressure test. A completed connection is also indicated by a pressing indicator. Both functions are available in the IVAR.IVN480 range for dimensions up to 54 mm.
Warning: Pressing and sealing the thread should be carried out by a qualified fitter using appropriate pressing tools.
For a pipe of 35 mm, the IVAR.IVN480 range also includes a reducer with a thread of Rp1". The entire range covers dimensions from 15 mm × Rp1/2" to 54 mm × Rp2".
