IVAR.RAIN BASIC CU-10000 (code A520092, designation ELCU-10000 l) is an underground self-supporting tank made of a polyethylene monoblock intended for the retention of rainwater. The collected water can be further used, for example, for flushing the toilet, in a washing machine, for irrigation or cleaning. The tank is not suitable for drinking water. A pump is not part of the delivery – depending on the method of withdrawal, a submersible pump or the IVAR suction set for RAIN BASIC CU must be added.

Installation and maintenance
Before installation, the hydrogeological and morphological properties of the site must be assessed. The pit must have at least 30 cm (50 cm in clay soil) of free space around the tank, it must be at least 1 m away from buildings and the bottom must have a sand layer of at least 15 cm. Fill the tank with water while backfilling in layers of 15–20 cm. The backfill above the top part of the tank must not exceed 80 cm and driving vehicles closer than 2 m from the excavation is prohibited without a load-bearing reinforced concrete slab. Ventilation should be led above the highest point of the building. Clean the filter inside the tank regularly, monitor the clarity and odour of the water and clean the entire tank once every 5–10 years. Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician.

No, the tank is intended for the retention of rainwater. This can be used, for example, for flushing the toilet, in a washing machine, for irrigation or cleaning.
